    My sentimental tuppence.
Well I for one had a fantastic rehearsal tonight. We sang a bunch of great songs in preparation for our imminent events, sang tags with Russell in town for the night, and we got to say goodbye to a beloved member, friend, who is leaving to return home. I personally love those real moments we have when we get to use this wonderful talent to express ourselves so deeply. Singing "The Irish Blessing" and "You Raise Me Up" to Poks tonight reminded me of the moment I decided to join the club, when we said goodbye to Julius who left earlier this year. It brings forward to me the reality that we are more than just singing group. We are a bunch of friends.

    Thank you guys

At Deep South Rehearsal this week we had a big night of running through our repertoire in preparation for our Anniversay Dinner. We got to hang with the Silvertones and some members that have returned to be a part of this monumental event. I'm looking forward to seeing how many we can get on the risers for a real treat next month :)

We want everyone who has had something to do with our choruses and quartets, as members, partners, supporters, audiences, friends, whatever, to be part of the celebrations.

This extends from way back in '93 right up to the present. It includes Wellingtonians, Deep Southerners, Silvertones and Fellas.

Booking will be via the internet at This link will take you directly there.

We are a singing club so you can expect lots of singing! To be part of the singing, join us at rehearsals for the next three weeks, Tuesday night, Hobart City Church of Christ, 8 Goulburn Street, Hobart, from 7:15pm.
